Here’s an animated potato. After drawing the potato in a sketchbook and Illustrator, I followed the steps in Brackey’s Skeletal Animation video.

Slow going for me right now, and that’s okay! I recently read and enjoyed B.J. Fogg’s Tiny Habits. One habit I’m trying out: watching a game dev-related youtube video every day. Easy for me to do, and I’ve been faithful with it for about two weeks. It keeps Unity and game dev in my mind, it’s fun, and I’ve been inspired by stories of independent developers and their projects. This good energy helped get me through some tricky steps in making these simple animations.
